Pastor's Prayer ~ John 12:36-43
Almighty God, the heavens declare your glory and the sky above proclaims your handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge of our God. Your law, O Lord, is perfect, reviving the soul; your testimony is sure, making wise the simple; your precepts are right, rejoicing the heart; your commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes, the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; your rules are true and righteous altogther. Lord, reveal yourself to us this morning through your Word. Give us eyes to see, ears to hear and hearts to understand that we may be turn from our sin of unbelief that we may be healed. Lord, as we look into your Word this morning and your glory is laid before us here, give us eyes to see. Lord, as we hear your Word being proclaimed and we are confronted with your truth and sovereign decree to do whatever you please, give us hearts to fear, confess & to love the glory that comes from God more than the glory that comes from man. We ask these things in the name above every name, the Word that became flesh and dwelt among us; the One whom we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father; the One full of grace and truth, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen & Amen.

Pastor's Prayer ~ John 12:20-36
Almighty God, you are our brilliant light. You are most holy. You are altogether glorious in all your actions & attributes. With you there is no darkness, sin or shadow. We confess our love for our own life and for this world. We confess our desire to serve and follow our own wisdom & deisres instead of turning to Your Word and the eternal truth we find there. Lord, we confess our shallow, seldom and passive appetite for Jesus Christ and Him crucified. The cross is most often peripheralin our thoughts, affections, and living. We seek to find our center and hope in all kinds of other temporary, worthless, bane ends that this foolish world seeks to promote. Lord, grant faith and repentance this morning. Give us hope in the power of the cross. Give us, Lord, faith in the work of the cross. Give us love for our perfect Savior bore the cross. Lord, Thank you for Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Thank you for the power, joy, hope and mercy we find there. The cross is our ever flowing fount full and overflowing with all the rich graces and promises from our good and wise Father toward us His church. O Lord, take us through the preaching of your Word this morning to this fount & cause us to drink deeply there that we might see our percious Savior and communion with Him this day as a foretaste of our eternal rest in the future. It is in this name, above every name, I pray, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Pastor's Prayer ~ John 12:12-19
Almighty God, King of kings and Lord of lords, you are the Sovereign One. Mighty in deed, knowledge and word. Wise in all things. All power in heaven and on earth is yours. You are our Creator. You are the king who convinces, subdues, draws, upholds, delivers and preserves. You will do this until we reach our heavenly kingdom. Your kingdom come, O Lord, on earth as it is in heaven. Your will be done. Save us, we pray, O Lord! O Lord, we pray, give us success. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD! We bless you from the house of the LORD. The Lord is God, and he has made his light to shine upon us. You are our God, and we will give thanks to you; you are our God; we will extol you. Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Grant your Spirit to give us eyes to see and ears to hear from your Word this morning, O Lord, that we may remember, bear witness and worship you as people who know you as our mighty King and sovereign Lord. It is in the name of our King and Savior, Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen and Amen.

Pastor's Prayer ~ John 12:1-11
Almighty God, “ Yours is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.” You are worthy! You are valuable. You are to exalted, treasured among all that is. This morning, Father, we confess that we are apt to make your creation our God. We worship and serve things we can handle or relationships around us and in so doing we diminish the glory that is yours alone. So this morning, my prayer & my plea is for your grace to break into our hearts and unfetter us from the world that so binds us to itself. Cause us with great joy to pursue you because you are worthy, sufficient, you are to be treasured. Accomplish this, Lord, in this congregation this morning that we may reflect your glory to this world. We ask this in the name, power, and authority of the resplendent One, Jesus Christ our Messiah, who was, who is and who will be forever the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. Amen & Amen.

Pastor's Prayer ~ John 11:45-57
Almighty God, you are good and wise. You are holy and pure. You are loving and strong. We come before you now, Lord, acknowledging our need for you. We are selfish and foolish. We are sinful and unclean. We are hatful and weak. We affirm this morning, Lord, that we are so undone that we need more than just help. We need a substitue. One who can stand in our place. One who will be our righteousness, our joy, our strength, our purity for us. Lord, grant faith in Jesus Christ & Him crucifed for us this morning. Remove everything that replaces faith in Christ with fear. Fear of loosing the things that can be taken away, the things we hold so dear and so important in this life that we so often worship instead of Jesus Christ. The things we place our hope in that are not worthy of our affection. Lord, deliver us from these empty, temporary hopes and dreams and satisfy us with the confident hope that only comes through the cross of Christ. As we await that glorious day when we will stand before you Holy and pure presence, give us confidence in Christ as our only necessary and sufficient substitute. It is in this name only, then, we can pray. Amen & Amen.

Pastor's Prayer ~ John 11:38-44
Almighty God, you are all powerful, omnipotent. You made the earth by your power. You established the world by your wisdom and by your understanding you stretched out the heavens. You are worthy, exalted and glorious. You are holy, holy, holy. This morning we come again to recognize our weakness. We have made nothing except what you have made for us. We are unable to establish even our own feelings. Our wisdom and understanding are limited to our small time and space we have occupied here on earth. Behold, Lord, you have made our days a few handbreadths, and our lifetimes are as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! We confess our frequent doubt in your power as sin, Lord. We confess our continual dependence upon ourselves and not in your powerful right hand to deliver us from the throws of sin, guilt, and despair. We confess our hope is too often from this world, our faith is in our abilities and our love is motivated by our own pride and want than for yours. O wretched men that we are! Who will deliver us from these bodies of death? Thanks be to our God through
